Once your sojourn begins you can relax knowing that you'll only need to open your purse when you go off exploring on your own, have your two "free-choice meals" or decide to buy souvenirs. The sojourn price covers almost everything during your sojourn: guides, accommodations, most meals, excursions...even taxes. Here are the details:
Professional Sojourner Tour Company Guide & Local Specialist Guides. Each tour is accompanied by one of the owners who are experienced, bilingual guides with advanced university degrees and a deep love for the area you are visiting. The owner will share his or her knowledge and passion for the local culture, history and cuisine so that you can learn and experience things that wouldn't be possible on your own. In addition, local English-speaking specialists will guide you as you visit prominent sights.
Six-Night Stay in a centrally located boutique hotel with historic character. Tour prices are based on double occupancy in a room with double bed and private bath or shower. *Acquiring a private room with single occupancy requires a supplement --when available (see “Single Room Supplement" on the Reservations/Deposits page for more details).
Gourmet Meals and Beverages (almost all meals are included): 6 breakfasts, most lunches, and most dinners plus a Champagne reception. Most sojourns are designed so that you have the fun of choosing two meals on your own, occasionally there is only one opportunity. These "free choice" meals (which are noted in the itineraries) are not included in the sojourn price. All other meals are included in the price. The meals include a combination of Michelin-star quality, gourmet and regional cuisine. All meals are paired with top grade regional wines.
Convenient Public Transportation or Professional Chauffeur. Sojourner Tours hires professional certified local drivers in areas where there is no convenient public transportation. Transportation in comfortable, private, air conditioned vans is included for all scheduled events on guided tour days. (Paris sojourns invite you to live like a local: hopping on and off the convenient metro, train & boat taxis. Sojourns outside Paris are usually in areas where there is little or no convenient public transportation and thus require a chauffeured private vehicle).
Entrance Fees to all sights visited with your guide are included in the itinerary.

Health insurance We don’t cover any medical, hospitalization, evacuation or repatriation charges for any reason.

Free time sightseeing and transportation that is not specifically mentioned in your organized itinerary.

Transportation to and from the hotel before and after the tour.
